One Hand Army Man - Strategy Game for Symbian Smart Phones

In 2007 I took a mobile application development course at Syracuse University. One Hand Army Man was my final project for the course.

One Hand Army Man is a two-player player (on the same phone) strategy game. My goal was to scale Empire: Wargame of the Century to a mobile platform.

I didn't enjoy programming with Symbian's conventions, so I ended up writing most of the game in ANSI C and porting it after testing. The lack of a working emulator for MacOS X further motivated this approach.

The game is a lot of fun so long as you have someone willing to kill 5 minutes to play it with you.

Graphics for this game come from the freeciv project.
